Winner of the Premier's Drama Award, Adam Grossetti's play reveals the extraordinary, largely untold, story of the violent reign of La Mano Ner (The Black Hand) among the Italian immigrants in Far North Queensland in the 1930s. It is a sweeping tale of the hopes, dreams, fear and prejudice that accompany the immigrant experience.
